Each year the Associates host a St. Patrick Day Party to celebrate with the sisters. This year’s party on March 10 was well attended and honored the Irish heritage so evident in the community.
We feasted on corned beef, soda bread and on an assortment of appetizers and salads. We played games, sang songs, and shared our thoughts and experiences of Ireland, discovering a shared appreciation for its history, culture and its survival in the face of so many challenges. The afternoon ended with a medley of Irish songs.
